2026 Spring Update

Village women were waiting for us along the path and greeted us with singing.  The new borehole is working well and serving them so much better than the open hole in the ground they were scooping water from before in was installed in 2025.

The borehole near the school has provided reliable fresh water, not salty. It is serving five nearby villages--all of their chiefs attended the meeting, along with the water committees, development committee representatives and the school's headmaster. We also learned that the number quoted earlier of 650 school children did not include the girls, so that number is closer to 1,005.
