Jimu 2 is located at the base of Chanda Hill. Pictured is Tim Larson, far right, with Jimu's senior chief standing to his right, and the chief's two sons, each of whom have jurisdiction over half of Jimu. 

In discussions with the chief, the team learned more precisely where the boundary lines of Jimu 2 were located.  It was important to the chief that the borehole be dug on Jimu 2 land rather than  Jimu 1 which already had a water well. The team examined the data and fortunately could accommodate his request.

When  interpreting the resistivity data, a narrow finger of hard rock could be seen in the middle of the area. The "finger" corresponded with igneous dykes , which disrupt the groundwater flow. To be certain, the resistivity tests were repeated at a higher resolution. 

The new borehole intersects the right edge of the dyke and produces good water.
